📚 Standing Waves Theory

Standing waves form when waves reflect back and forth, creating nodes (points of no motion) and antinodes (points of maximum motion).

y(x,t) = 2A sin(kx) cos(ωt)
λₙ = 2L/n
fₙ = nv/(2L)

Nodes: occur at x = 0, Îť/2, Îť, ...

Antinodes: occur at x = Îť/4, 3Îť/4, ...
